Ryan Borer

Ryan J Borer is CEO and co-founder of AdvisorCRM, bringing over 20 years of experience in financial services technology. He previously served as President and Chief Strategy Officer at Fusion Capital Management from 2011-2024.

During his tenure at Fusion, Ryan helped grow the firm from $200 million to over $3 billion in assets under advisement. He led the development of Fusion Elements, a proprietary technology platform that streamlined operations and enabled advisor firms to scale efficiently. The platform supported 325+ financial advisors and over 20,000 accounts with just two full-time operations staff members—achieving over 8,000 accounts per staff member compared to the industry average of 1,715.

Ryan played a key role in Fusion's institutional fundraising efforts, including a recapitalization with former TD Ameritrade executives. He also established technology integrations with over 20 wealthtech providers and major custodial platforms.

Ryan has held Series 7, Series 6, Series 63, Series 65, Life, Health and Variable as well as previously holding the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation through the College of Financial Planning.
