Beth Haddock is chief legal officer for wealthtech leader AdvisorEngine and an independent board director with over 25 years’ experience leading the design and successful implementation of modern governance programs. At AdvisorEngine, she helps clients and partners with smart regulatory and legal strategies to navigate evolving technologies and market forces as a resource for advisory and consultancy services. She also leads an ongoing compliance webinar series as an Action! magazine contributor. With a focus on accelerating safe and sustainable growth, Haddock fosters a culture of risk ownership, partnership and creative problem-solving, re-positioning governance and compliance as powerful business drivers at notable companies including Brown Brothers Harriman, Guggenheim Investments and AXA Advisors.
She is an active industry leader, sharing her expertise and guidance on cutting-edge topics related to compliance, blockchain, and emerging technology such as AI. Haddock currently serves as Co-Chair for the Web3 subcommittee of the Digital Tech Taskforce for the New York City Bar Association, as a member of the advisory board for the Stablecoin Standard, an Independent Board Member and Chair of the Compliance Committee at GMO-Z.com Trust Company, and is an active member of the Regulatory Advisory Committee for the National Society of Compliance Professionals. Haddock also developed a patented technology to measure compliance ROI. She is the author of “Triple Bottom-line Compliance: How to Deliver Protection, Productivity and Impact,” and is the podcast host for “What’s Ethical?”
